Aight. First Interview, as i remember. English version below.

Manu Hallo
Also fangen wir an.
ManuOK. Wie alt bist du, woher kommst du?
KennyAlso erstmal: bonjour!
ManuBier, Wasser, Cola
KennyWasser + Cerealien= Bier, auf jeden fall!
ManuGute Wahl. Favourite Event / Setup / Obstacle / Rider
KennyZu Viele/ BW+WWZ / Alles was sich fahren lässt, oder auch nicht / PUH, was für eine Frage
ManuWas bedeutet Gripskin für dich?
KennyLIFESTYLE!
ManuLast words?
KennyXylophon

Manu Hi

Kenny Hi, now i got time.

Manu Good, what have you been up to?

Kenny School, dude! Finally School again.

Manu Cool!

Kenny Not really. Everyday from 8am to 5pm and on Sunday from 8 to 11.

Manu Aight. Let’s get this interview started. Where are you from and how old are you?

Kenny First of all: Bonjour! My name is KLEIN Julien, I’m from Baguett-Country and 16 years old.

Manu How long are you Fingerboarding and how long do you play Skateboard?

Kenny Hard to say, started both around 2005.

Manu Why did you even start?

Kenny I don’t know, i still ask this myself.

Manu Hehe, now… i don’t know what to ask..  Tell me more about your fingerboard history.

Kenny Well, I started with a Techdeck, a toy. It was love at first sight. I was super stoked because you could do the same trick just like on the big skateboard. But the advantage was being able to ride wherever you want to. Every place can be used as a fingerboard spot. Later i found forums on the internet and discovered the fingerboard scene. I liked the idea of having good fingerboarding equipment and meeting other guys who share the same passion on miniature skateboarding. I now live and love Fingerboarding every singel day. Some people became friends, other my second family.

Manu Beer, water, coke.

Kenny Water + cereals = beer, for shizzle!

Manu Good choice (Chris Daniels will confirm this). Favourite event/setup/obstacle/rider

Kenny Too many / BW+WWZ / everything rideable, or not / PUH, what a question !

Manu What is Gripskin for you ?

Kenny LIFESTYLE !

Manu Last words ?

Kenny Xylophon

BONUS QUESTION

Lukki How much did fingerboarding help you learning German?

Kenny 99.9%

Manu THX and a bientôt

It’s wednesday, so here is another spotlight video or like he wanted to have it called: “Spott [derision] light” . This time it’s Tim Teichert who’s from Dresden, Germany and is currently sponsored by blackriver-ramps, pop-decks and Winkler Wheelz.

We had one week to film this video, because he lived here for one week, which was pretty awesome, cause he’s such a cool and creative, nice guy.

So lay back, enjoy his fingerboarding and feel free to comment ;-)

Hey Folks, we got some very nice photos from a guy called Keven Ugurlu. Back in 2003 and 2004 Keven was busy in fingerboarding. He founded one of the first news sites in the internet and was one of the first serious fingerboard photographers. Today he´s working as a digital media designer and loves photography as much as before. Check out his recent work on www.kevenugurlu.de. Unfortunately he´s not in fingerboarding anymore, but he told us “When i look to the right, i´m seeing my fingerboard. Then i think i should ride again… but i just don´t do it. I don´t know why…”

Following photos are taken on Freaky Fingers 2 in nuremburg, one of the first bigger contests besides Fast Fingers.

Yo! This is our first category called “spotlight”, in which we want to introduce a rider, who’s a friend of us and whom you maybe (or probably) don’t know. We’re going to make these spotlights from time to time. Maybe not every week, but we’re gonna try our best ;-)

The guy in the video this week is Alexander “Ali” Schach, a text about him is going to be online in a while =) Enjoy the video!

Reedit: We found an old tape from ali, you should know it…

oh an by the way, we appreciate every comment! ;D
